The Lowry Hill East neighborhood is located east of Lowry Hill in the Calhoun-Isles Community of Minneapolis. Lake Street to the south, Hennepin Avenue to the west, Lyndale Avenue to the east, and the conjunction of Hennepin and Lyndale to the north are the Lowry Hill East neighborhood’s borders. The Lowry Hill East neighborhood is also sometimes known as "the Wedge" because of its triangular shape. This is a "youthful and trendy” Minneapolis neighborhood, with a much higher percentage of young adults and singles. Lowry Hill East’s border streets are full of bars, clubs, restaurants, coffee shops, and shops that attract visitors from all over the Twin Cities. The neighborhood is home to the Walker Art Center and Minneapolis Sculpture Garden.
