Loring Park is a neighborhood located within the Central Community of Minneapolis. The neighborhood is bound by West Lyndale North, Lyndale South and Hennepin avenues on the west; Interstate 94 on the south and Highway 65 on the east. The neighborhood is home to the Basilica of Saint Mary, the Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church and the Woman’s Club. The Walker Art Center and Guthrie Theater are nearby, as well as many restaurants and cafés. As expected, there is an active social and cultural life in Loring Park. The green space that is Loring Park, one of the largest parks in Minneapolis, is a cultural center that hosts a number of carnivals and festivals every year.
