The neighborhood of Kenwood is located in the Calhoun-Isles Community on Minneapolis’ west side. The district’s boundaries are Cedar Lake Park on the west and north, Kenwood Parkway on the north, West Lake of the Isles on the east, and Kenilworth Place and Lake of the Isles to the south. The neighborhood shares Lake of the Isles and Cedar Lake with the Cedar-Isles-Dean district. Kenwood contains many green spaces including the parks, trails and lakes. Kenwood Park offers over 30 acres of recreational land, and is considered a treasure of the Minneapolis parks system.
