Much as the name suggests, the East Isles neighborhood is found on the eastern shores of Lake of the Isles in Minneapolis. Located in the Calhoun-Isles Community of Minneapolis, this area’s borders are 22nd Street East on the north, Hennepin Avenue on the east, Lake Street East on the south, and the lake shores and Knox Avenue South on the west. Positioned on the western side of Minneapolis, East Isles is a prosperous district with a touch of prestige. The Midtown Greenway traverses across the southern portion of the neighborhood, connecting eventually with Hiawatha Avenue on the east and the city limits on the west.
