The Columbia Park neighborhood of Minneapolis is in the Northeast Community. It is bound on the north by 37th Avenue, on the east by Central Avenue and on the south by 27th Avenue and St. Anthony Boulevard. It is bound on the west by University Avenue NE, 4th Street NE and the Mississippi River. Columbia Park is a thriving residential neighborhood of about 1,600 people. The active Columbia Park Neighborhood Association plans activities for residents of all ages, including community gardens, container gardening, and Tai Chi courses. The green space named Columbia Park has an 18-hole golf course, playground area, walking trails, archery course, horseshoe pits and picnic areas. The neighborhood also includes the smaller Hi View Park, with a children's wading pool and basketball courts.
