The Cedar Riverside Neighborhood is in the University Community of Minneapolis. The Cedar Riverside neighborhood is also known locally as "the West Bank" due to its location on the river. Cedar-Riverside‘s history is nearly as old as Minneapolis itself, culminating today in a neighborhood that continues a long tradition of ethnic and cultural diversity. It currently contains the largest community of immigrants in the Twin Cities, which has resulted in a rich diversity of restaurants, shops, entertainment and other neighborhood features.
